Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Somerset to assist with the appointment of a Case Manager - Tenancy and Estates, on a 6.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £ 18.70 - £25.05 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager – Tenancy and Estates to deliver a comprehensive tenancy and estate management service for a portfolio of approximately 550–750 social housing properties. The successful candidate will manage a wide range of housing-related enquiries, provide tenancy advice, support vulnerable residents to sustain their tenancies, and handle complex tenancy management cases while maintaining accurate records on the Open Housing System.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 550–750 social housing tenancies, providing advice and resolving tenancy-related enquiries.
  • Investigate and manage complex tenancy cases, including tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Provide practical support to vulnerable tenants, working with internal teams and external agencies to help sustain tenancies.
  • Maintain accurate case records and update all customer interactions on the Open Housing System.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while ensuring compliance with housing legislation, tenancy agreements, and Council policies.

Essentials:

  • Experience managing social housing tenancies or housing management cases.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable customers and handling complex tenancy issues.
  • Experience maintaining accurate case records using housing management systems.
  • Experience working within housing legislation and tenancy management procedures.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires a Basic DBS
