Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.
As a Case Manager Supervisor at Gaudenzia you will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of Case Managers. This individual is responsible for assisting parents in obtaining substance use disorder treatment and remaining compliant with their Child Welfare service plans. The program provides specialized, intensive case management services to identified parents who have substance abuse issues, whether their children are in the home or in out-of-home placement. The areas of supervision will include reviewing referrals for appropriateness of services, assigning cases and supervising case management, tracking and submitting required contract reports, including yearly contract renewal and general program management.
This person may handle an independent caseload and assist other personnel by ensuring proper referral of clients to all appropriate services available and necessary to them.
Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but the person is expected to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment in achieving objectives.
Qualifications:
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline, plus specialized training for specialized population; or Master’s degree in related specialty area
Experience: Two years of case management supervisory experience
Your responsibilities in this role may include:
• Oversee case management services
• Hire, supervise and train case managers
• Maintain a caseload and perform case management duties
• Track program statistics, accomplishments and demographic
• Compile statistics and necessary information for yearly contract renewal application
• Conduct outreach efforts to maintain full caseload and facilitate referrals to the
• Establish and maintain referral relationships with service providers
• Maintain valid driver’s license
• Other related duties as assigned by the Director and as described in the Unit Unique Job Description
Preferred Experience: Licensed by the Department of State or be a Certified Allied Addiction Practitioner or Certified Associate Addiction Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor at the time of hire or being working toward licensure or certification with a completion date of no more than three years from the date of hire. The "working toward" certification must be evidenced by a log maintained in the employee file that includes hours worked/hours of supervision/ required training needed to qualify for full licensure or certification as per the PA Department of State or PCB. Said log will be monitored for compliance and evidence of active pursuit of credentialing will be monitored.
