
Gemma Services has an IBHS program operating out of our Mt. Airy location. Gemma Services is known for its quality programs that promote safety and nonviolence while cultivating a caring environment in a diverse and inclusive environment. Gemma Services strives to create a community that promotes recovery from trauma for the children and families that we serve.
Responsible for supporting the process of admission into the IBHS program including entering referrals, obtaining consents, and securing authorizations for services. Responsible for managing a small caseload of children/youth in non-cluster schools. Ensures collaborative communication with other members of the treatment team.
Requirements: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office; Familiarity of utilizing EHR; Detail oriented; Excellent organization and task management skills; Experience collaborating with others in a professional capacity
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Child Welfare and Behavioral Health field is normally required.
Education: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a human service-related field preferred.
