Job Description

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) seeks energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. The Case Manager is responsible for developing and revising service plans that are appropriate to the needs and preferences of the client, program requirements, funding provider standards, and VOAOHIN. The Case Manager provides appropriate, systematic evaluation and interpretive reports. The Case Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a database of client resources.

The HCHV Case manager will be focused on the rapid rehousing of unhoused veterans and prevention of homelessness in the veteran community. This will involve building relationships and community connections with community resources, partnered organizations and the veterans that we serve. This role is curial in the prevention of homelessness in the community.

Strong written communication skills are essential, along with demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities. The ideal candidate will effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF is required. The Case Manager must be able to work efficiently under pressure while consistently maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in the area of human and/or social services or the behavioral sciences. Education and/or verifiable work experience with at-risk populations is required (homeless, veterans, behavioral health, drug/alcohol addiction, employment, residential).
