Program: Forensic Intensive Recovery (FIR)

Forensic Intensive Recovery (FIR) is a prison deferral initiative that offers substance use treatment as an alternative to incarceration. PHMC's FIR team provides clinical evaluation, case management, and peer support to participants.
The FIR Case Manager works directly with participants who are court-stipulated for treatment services with oversight from the Adult Probation and Parole departments. The Case Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure services are provided to participants and to document those services according to DAP, CBH, Forensic Services, and PHMC requirements. The Case Manager supports participants while working with all levels of management within the treatment program, Forensic Services, and the recovery community.
