  • Develop stakeholder relationships within the community and be an effective advocate.
  • Promote culturally responsive and inclusive practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, families and culturally diverse communities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for working with young people and families, alongside strong case management and relationship-building skills. You are adaptable, resilient and thrive in a dynamic outreach environment.

  • A Bachelor qualification (or higher) in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Welfare or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with young people and an understanding of adolescent development and the challenges impacting vulnerable young people and families.
  • Knowledge of strengths-based and youth-focused intervention approaches.
  • Experience undertaking assessments, case management and coordinated support planning.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to build and maintain productive relationships with young people, families, colleagues and external stakeholders.

Our Benefits

  • Additional salary packaging available for meals/accommodation.
  • Flexible work arrangements and generous leave conditions.
  • Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including access for staff members’ immediate family.
