Job Description

We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of a Case Handler,on a 5- months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £18.35- £24.20 per hour



Case Handler is responsible to support the delivery of Southern Housing's Reactive Repairs service, with a specific focus on damp and mould cases that do not present an immediate health hazard. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and case management support, ensuring cases are managed efficiently from initial report through to resolution. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage an allocated caseload of non-hazard damp and mould cases from initial enquiry through to resolution.
  • Ensure cases progress within agreed service standards and legislative timescales, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and administrative documentation relating to case management activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance case management processes and customer service.
  • Undertake any additional administrative or clerical duties appropriate to the role.

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of general education (GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics).

Essentials:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or case handling role.
  • Experience working directly with customers, preferably within the public sector, housing, or property services.
  • Experience managing multiple cases while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
