Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Up to 50%

Job Shift: AnyJOB PURPOSE:

The case aide is responsible for providing direct ancillary support to case management teams by using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure case progression and completion. The Case Aide works closely with the Case Management team to facilitate completion of ORR requirements for case management for children in care. The Case Aide provides administrative support to the client’s family, as well as the case managers in efforts to help prepare and process forms, applications, and other paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with distribution of caseload to ensure all cases are accounted for in the allotted time frame.
  • Assists with contacting sponsors regarding family reunification packet completion, requesting records requests, internal case file audits, scanning legal documents, data entry input, conducting phone calls, organizing casefiles, filing, and scheduling fingerprint appointments as needed.
  • Arranging, transporting, children in care to other perspective departments.
  • Completes training requirements provided by the Office of Refugee and Resettlements.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and trainings.
  • Schedule calls and file documents as needed.
  • Assist with various files such as affiliate contracts, expense reports, monitoring reports, and drafting documents.
  • Assist with data entry compliance, maintaining program records, and ensure ORR standards are met with data collection.
  • Comply with policies provided by ORR.
  • Assist with ongoing desk monitoring of local case managers implementing this program.
  • Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School or GED diploma.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training. Strong research and technical writing skills required. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English; able to read, write and verbally communicate and be 21 years or older.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. Willingness to drive to off-site locations, highly preferred. Able and willing to travel locally, nationally and internationally up to 25-50% of time.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations including Pecos Children’s Center with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
