We are seeking to fill one position to teach a two-credit course to support knowledge acquisition and skill development for up to 25 students serving in community-engagement programming through the Center for Community Engagement. Specifically, the course is designed to help students learn about contextual issues relating to early childhood education, and to gain skills related to educational enrichment programming offered by the Center. The responsibilities of this appointment will be to prepare for and teach class meetings in the fall 2026 semester from August 24 through December 15, 2026. This position will involve course and program planning meetings, teaching the course, grading of course assignments, holding office hours, and advising.
Responsibilities:
Refer students to support services, including Career Center, Learning Center, OMSA, etc., as appropriate
·Previous experience teaching emerging adults.
·Expertise related to the discipline and subject matter, including early childhood literacy.
·Effective oral and written communication skills to deliver course content in person as well as online.
