The HRA Office of Special Services administers specialized programs for eligible individuals in a variety of settings to promote independence and well-being. The Home Care Services Program (HCSP) is a Medicaid funded program that provides long term care to medically fragile and vulnerable individuals who require assistance with activities of daily living through the Community Alternative Systems Agency (CASA), Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) Program, the Assisted Living Program and Homebound Medicaid.
Under the direction of the CASA Director, with latitude for independent initiative and judgement, the Supervisor III will supervise case management teams ensuring that appropriate and timely determinations are initiated through the Long-Term Care Web. The team reviews medical nursing and social assessments to determine and re-determine consumer eligibility for home care services and if so, the type and amount of service to be provided; assures that all approvals are appropriate and completed in a timely manner.
Home Care Services Program (HCSP) is recruiting one (1) SUPERVISOR III (SOCIAL SERVICES), to function as a CASA SENIOR SUPERVISOR in HCSP’s Contract Management Services, who will:
- Supervise staff engaged in the expedition of home care services for consumers in receipt of care.
- Resolve complex non-routine cases by conferring with medical and social service staff, agencies and providers in order to provide resolution for consumers with special problems.
- Interpret administrative guidelines, train staff and coordinate work activities and evaluate staff performance.
- Oversee metrics and reporting for the Long-Term Care Web system to ensure the program remains on target for meeting mandated processing timeframes. Utilize reporting outcomes to assist the CASA Director develop or amend processing workflows.
- Liaison with SDOH, Vendors, and advocates to foster smooth working relationships. Provide external constituents with clarifications regarding HCSP practices
- Keep abreast of processing and error trends to enable the program to adapt and apply as appropriate. Work with subordinate staff to quickly and appropriately resolve errors. Assist with developing strategies to ensure timely processing.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of full-time satisfactory experience in social casework, at least two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
