What You’ll Do

Brookhaven Market is hiring a Part-Time Cart Pusher in Burr Ridge, IL for our morning shift. This role keeps the front end moving and helps customers start (and finish) their trip on a good note.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve carts from the parking lot and return them to the store quickly and safely
• Bag groceries neatly and assist customers with carry-outs to their vehicles
• Keep the exterior and parking lot tidy and organized
• Support basic stocking and product organization as needed
• Follow store safety and operational policies while delivering friendly service

Required skills & qualifications:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; able to stand and walk for the full shift
• Strong communication and people skills
• Able to push carts and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable availability, with flexibility for weekends/holidays when needed

Morning Flow Check

You’ll kick off with a quick hello to the team, then head out to keep carts rolling in from the lot as the morning shoppers arrive. You’ll pop inside to help things stay smooth at the front—bagging with care and jumping in for carry-outs when someone needs an extra set of hands. Between rushes, you’ll straighten up the entry area and keep the outside looking neat so everything feels ready for the day ahead. Expect plenty of steps, friendly chats, and that satisfying “we’ve got this” rhythm.
