Job Description

RESUMEN DEL PUESTO: Los carpinteros cortan, dan forma y ensamblan estructuras de madera y sus derivados utilizando una amplia gama de herramientas, que incluye martillos, cepillos de carpintero, destornilladores y cintas métricas. Además, a menudo utilizan herramientas eléctricas y máquinas de cortar.

RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Medir y cortar materiales a las medidas especificadas, utilizando herramientas manuales, máquinas o sierras mecánicas.
  • Construir o reparar armarios, puertas, armazones, suelos u otros elementos de madera utilizados en los edificios, utilizando máquinas para trabajar la madera, herramientas manuales de carpintero o herramientas eléctricas.
  • Instalar estructuras o accesorios, como ventanas, marcos, suelos, molduras o herrajes, utilizando herramientas manuales o eléctricas de carpintero.
  • Retirar partes o secciones de estructuras dañadas o defectuosas y repararlas o sustituirlas, utilizando herramientas manuales.
  • Ensamblar y fijar materiales para hacer estructuras o puntales, utilizando herramientas manuales y tornillos para madera, clavos, clavijas o pegamento.
  • Montar andamios o escaleras para montar estructuras por encima del nivel del suelo.
  • Cubrir los subsuelos con papel de construcción para evitar la humedad y colocar suelos de madera, parqué o bloques de madera clavando los suelos al subsuelo o cementándolos a una base de masilla o asfalto.
  • Seguir las normas de seguridad establecidas y mantener un entorno seguro y limpio.
  • Realiza otras tareas diversas según sea necesario.

REQUSITOS:

  • Poseer experiencia de cinco (5) años o más en el campo de carpintería en proyectos de construcción.
  • Tener sus propias herramientas (Herramientas eléctricas las provee el patrono)
