Take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy solving problems on the job? Join our team as a Carpenter / Roofer and play a key role in supporting solar installations by ensuring roofs and structures are safe, secure, and built to last.

This is a hands-on, field-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll perform everything from structural improvements to leak repairs, helping prepare homes for solar while delivering high-quality work. If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working with your hands, this is a great opportunity to grow in the solar industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess project sites and take accurate measurements to prepare for installation.
  • Perform structural improvements, including framing and reinforcing rafters.
  • Diagnose and repair roof leaks efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete home repairs related to solar installations (siding, drywall, etc.).
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners while on-site.
  • Document work with photos and detailed notes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
  • Support additional construction-related tasks as needed.

Equipment You’ll Use

  • Hand and power tools for carpentry and roofing
  • Ladders, fall protection, and safety equipment
  • Measuring and layout tools
  • Roofing materials and repair equipment
  • Company vehicle for travel between job sites

A Typical Day

  • Meet your team and review the day’s job sites
  • Assess roofing or structural needs at each location
  • Perform repairs, framing adjustments, or prep work for solar installation
  • Communicate updates with homeowners and team members
  • Document completed work and prepare for the next job

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in carpentry, roofing, or general construction
  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
  • Ability to use standard construction tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and MVR check
