Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, position is responsible for repairs and installation of locks, closers, electric operators, panic hardware and all equipment associated with the locksmith position. Responsible for scheduled inspection and preventive maintenance work orders and documentation of same. Is involved in the purchase and control of material as needed to perform duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Vocational/Trade School courses or equivalent on the job training.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Skilled in use of all carpentry power tools, i.e., table saw, jig saw, saber saw, etc. Repair and maintenance of door hardware systems and locking devices/systems. Knowledge of state and local building codes. Must be able to read blueprints. In the absence of any of these skills, must have the ability to be thoroughly trained up to organizational standards.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a locksmith or carpenter, experience in healthcare preferred.
Pay Range:
$33.57 - $45.18
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
