The Carpenter will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and repairing wooden parts and furniture components according to design specifications. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately interpret and follow drawings and instructions.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Interpret job orders, design sketches, and technical drawings to execute carpentry tasks.

  Cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-based materials for furniture production as instructed.

• 
  Safely and correctly operate carpentry machines and hand tools.

• 
  Carry out routine repairs or modifications on furniture as needed.

• 
  Sand and smooth surfaces in preparation for finishing.

• 
  Assist in moving and arranging wooden materials and finished pieces.

  Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the carpentry work area.

  Report defects, shortages, or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor.

  Follow safety guidelines and properly use and maintain protective equipment provided.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Production, Interior Design, Wood Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 
  5–8 years’ proven experience in furniture manufacturing, interior décor production, or a related industry.
• 
  Demonstrated experience in managing production teams, workflow scheduling, and factory operations.
• 
  Strong background in materials sourcing (wood, upholstery, fittings, laminates, paints, etc.) and vendor management.
• 
  Hands-on knowledge of carpentry/joinery techniques, CNC and woodworking machinery, and finishing processes.
• 
  Excellent understanding of furniture design, joinery, upholstery, finishing, and installation processes.
• 
  Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) for interpreting design drawings.
• 
  Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and inventory management systems.
• 
  Strong project management, budgeting, and cost control skills.

  Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in manufacturing
