Job Description

Are you ready to get your hands dirty and join our team of problem solvers? 

If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have exciting new opportunities for Carpenters to join our Team, working a Monday to Friday roster at Gove in the Northern Territory.

In order to be successful in this role it is essential you have a positive can-do attitude and meet the following:

  • Trade Certificate in Carpentry
  • C Class Drivers License
  • Commitment to Safety in the workplace
  • Physically fit and able to work in diverse weather conditions
  • Carpentry experience at a remote site camp, village or property maintenance
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Excellent attention detail and the be able to provide professional customer service ensuring exceptional presentation to client/customer satisfaction
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads

The applicant must be able to demonstrate appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to perform the below listed tasks:

  • Door replacements
  • Replacing/installing locksets
  • Wall Lining replacement and repairs
  • Flooring and Metal Roofing replacement and repairs - including flashings and cappings.
  • Plasterboard ceiling replacements including flushing
  • Carpentry replacements (Cupboards and Draws)
  • Framing /Partition construction.
