The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing Passive Fire team in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of passive fire protection systems across a range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring fire compliance standards are achieved and maintained through high-quality workmanship and professional service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
Installing, repairing, and maintaining passive fire protection systems
Installing fire-rated walls, doors, penetrations, fire collars, batts and mastic systems
Conducting on-site assessments and measurements
Interpreting construction drawings and fire compliance specifications
Working closely with supervisors, project managers, clients, and fire safety assessors
Completing compliance documentation, reports, and checklists accurately
Ensuring all works comply with Australian Standards and NCC/BCA requirements
Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism on site
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
Experience within passive fire protection highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Sound knowledge of construction methods and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current manual driver’s licence
Current White Card
Ability to pass police checks and medicals where required for site access
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Additional industry licences or related experience (desirable)
Full working rights in Australia (essential)
