Thread Recruitment is proud to partner with Bertello Group, a Toowoomba-based carpentry business built on craftsmanship, reliability, and integrity. With ongoing work across major residential builds, they’re expanding their crew and looking for a carpenter who wants to be part of something solid and long-term.

The Role

You’ll:

• Work on residential new builds from framing to final touches
• Help bring homes to life from the ground up
• Keep sites safe, efficient, and high-quality
• Work directly with the owner and a crew that cares; no politics, no bullshit, just good people doing good work.

What You’ll Get

• $40–$45/hr + super (depending on experience)
• Consistent local work, and home every night
• Optional Saturdays for extra hours
• Supportive, close-knit crew that values your time and expertise
• A clear path to step into leadership as the team expands

What You’ll Bring

• Carpentry trade qualification + White Card
• 2+ years’ experience in residential or volume builds
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and confident in your craft
• Bonus: experience with steel framing
