About the Role:Join Mueller Lumber Company as a Carpenter and be a vital part of our skilled team in Mitchell, SD. We're dedicated to crafting high-quality residential and commercial building projects and providing exceptional service, and we're looking for passionate individuals to help us build our reputation even further.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and work processes.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to meet project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Assist in estimating project costs and timelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
