Job DetailsJob Location: NAPCO Precast SA - San Antonio, TX 78250Salary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 HourlySummary
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
Primary responsibilities
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, glue, and pneumatic nail guns.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
The ability to operate a Table saw, Bandsaw, Drill Press, Miter Saw, Hand tools & DrillsQualificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to lift, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
Be on Feet 8 to 12 hour shifts
Work outside all day in heat or cold
