Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools, such as, but not limited to, minor demolishing activities, wood, and metal stud framing
  • Operate company equipment, receive material, and offload in a safe manner
  • Prepare material takeoffs
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
  • Perform skilled carpentry work such as repairing and constructing all aspects of
  • Wood/metal stud framing
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
  • Adhere to and sign all pre-task plans and/or job hazard analysis forms
  • Prepare surfaces for paint and other applications
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), on weekends. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired, and 2 to 3 years’ experience in skilled carpentry
  • Favorable driver’s record/valid license.
  • Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol
