This role pays $28 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a growing industry dedicated to our residents and your success! You will also enjoy work/life balance, working Monday through Friday, with occasional on call Saturdays/Sundays as needed

Our Maintenance Technicians:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include, plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare and organizes materials and equipment before starting a task.
  • Report equipment/items to supervisor that need repair immediately.
  • Responds to occasional building emergencies as needed by the supervisor.
  • Report all incidents/accidents to supervisor.
  • Perform daily rounds and check of various systems as assigned, including related record keeping.
  • Share on call duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age with the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Formal training in vocational school or trade apprenticeship program preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 1 years building maintenance work experience.
  • Completion of a background check may include other prescreening requirements such as a drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements Include:

  • Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building.
  • Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment.
  • May need to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
