Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Safety & Health System Platform Specialist to support each of our Nevada Gold Mines operation. The successful candidate will engage with several key internal and external stakeholders to initiate and support safe and responsible mining operations.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize safety and compliance systems including but not limited to; Damstra, Isometrix,
- Avetta, Formstack, Convergence, and SharePoint.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system-related issues across all NGM sites
- Support safety, training, and operational teams by providing expertise in system use and documentation.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for system platform issues, support, and updates.
- Create, update, and maintain skill matrices within relevant platforms.
- Manage system configurations, permissions, workflows, and regular updates
- Ensure accuracy of safety and training data by performing routine system audits and validations.
- Develop and deliver user training and system documentation across supported platforms. (Damstra, Avetta,
- MOC platform, SharePoint etc)
- Collaborate with H&S, HR, Training, and IT departments to align tools with operational needs.
- Support site leadership and NGM corrective action tracking.
- Continually audit all systems to ensure the accuracy of data and records
- Support ISO 45001 audits, implementation and improvements with the IMS Elements
- Assist with ATF licensing and regulatory requirements to include EPQ, Notice of Clearance, and SharePoint site for NGM.
- Contribute to NGM’s quarterly risk register reviews and work with sites to update risk status.
- Support with Fatal Risk Management alignment across NGM
- Maintain and support risk register system and MOC
- Maintain and update the Document Control Center to ensure integrity of documentation being uploaded.
- Support standardization of procedures across all NGM sites.
- Serve as system expert for audits, cross-site alignment, and application use transitions
- Maintain D&A SharePoint site and ensure accessibility of key documentation and resources.
- Support H&S and Training data management, reporting, and KPI tracking
- Assist with ISOMetrix platform usage and improvements as needed
- Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly sustainability reporting and KPI reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a mining or industrial setting is required.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety principles required
- Strong presentation and written communication skills required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support cross-departmental users required
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Excellent technical capabilities: analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of LMS and H&S systems (Damstra, Document Control, SharePoint, etc.) preferred
- Project coordination skills to lead system enhancements and rollouts preferred
- Internal Auditor Training ISO 45001 preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional technical certifications in system platforms (e.g., Damstra, SharePoint) a plus.
