Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Pay Rate: Started on $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: Hartford County, CT
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends & Live-In/24-Hour

We are looking for dedicated Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team and provide quality, compassionate support to our clients throughout Hartford County

What You’ll Do

• 
  Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance.
• 
  Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• 
  Provide companionship and emotional support.
• 
  Assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks.
• 
  Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence and dignity.
• 
  Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team.
• 
  Follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition when appropriate.
• 
  Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CNA or PCA certification preferred.
• 
  Previous home care or senior care experience
• 
  Experience caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
• 
  Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus
• 
  Strong communication and customer service skills.
• 
  Reliable, organized, and dependable.
• 
  Compassionate and professional.
• 
  Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• 
  Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
• 
  Commitment to maintaining client privacy, dignity, and safety.
