Caregiver

Pay: Starting at $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Location: Hartford County, CT | In-person
Shifts: Days | Evenings | Overnights | Weekends | Live-In / 24-Hour

We are hiring reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care and daily living support to seniors and individuals with specialized care needs throughout Hartford County.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• 
  Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• 
  Provide companionship and emotional support
• 
  Assist clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care routines
• 
  Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
• 
  Communicate with clients, families, and care team members
• 
  Follow care plans and report changes in clients' conditions
• 
  Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience required
• 
  CNA or PCA certification preferred
• 
  Experience in senior care or home care
• 
  Experience working with Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients
• 
  Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus
• 
  Strong communication and customer service skills
• 
  Reliable, organized, and dependable
• 
  Compassionate and professional
• 
  Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
