ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for an exceptional General Manager for a luxury resort in the Caribbean. This is a rare and high-profile opportunity for a seasoned hospitality leader to take the helm of a world-class property, driving performance, culture, and guest experience at the very highest level. The successful candidate will lead a team of up to 200+ colleagues and serve as the primary point of accountability for the property's commercial, operational, and ownership outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead all aspects of resort operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences and luxury service standards
• Drive commercial performance, including revenue optimisation, profitability, and achievement of financial targets
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with the ownership group and key stakeholders
• Foster a culture of innovation, engagement, and continuous improvement across all departments
• Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure adherence to group-wide best practices
• Lead and develop senior leadership teams, with a focus on talent retention and succession
• Maintain and uphold Forbes 5-star standards and overall brand integrity across the property

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven General Manager experience at a luxury five-star resort or hotel
• A strong commercial track record with demonstrated ability to drive RevPAR, profitability, and owner return
• Outstanding leadership presence with the ability to inspire and develop large, diverse teams
• Experience managing ownership relationships and delivering on agreed performance objectives
• Deep understanding of luxury guest experience standards and service excellence
• Remote destination or island resort experience is a significant advantage
• Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable on the floor as in the boardroom
