NOW Courier | 1099 Independent Contractor Opportunity

Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500 | Monday–Friday

NOW Courier is looking for dependable, motivated Cargo Van and Sprinter Van Owner-Operators to service an established distribution route covering Indianapolis and surrounding communities.

Route Details

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start Time: 6:00 AM
• End Time: Upon completion of assigned deliveries
• Average Weekly Earnings: Approximately $1,500
• Compensation: Percentage-based, determined by vehicle size and classification
• Estimated Weekly Mileage: 750–1,125 miles
• Average Daily Stops: 35–70
• Required Vehicle: Cargo van or Sprinter van (2014 or newer)

Contractors should be comfortable navigating multiple delivery locations throughout the assigned service area.

Compensation & Earning Potential

Average Weekly Earnings: Approximately $1,500

NOW Courier offers a percentage-based compensation structure that takes into account the type and size of the vehicle used for delivery services.

• Vehicle-Based Compensation: Contractors receive an established percentage of applicable route revenue based on their qualifying vehicle classification.
• Earning Potential: Average weekly earnings are approximately $1,500, with actual compensation dependent on vehicle classification, route volume, and completed deliveries.
• Consistent Route Opportunities: Established Monday through Friday distribution work provides predictable delivery opportunities.

Earnings are estimates and are not guaranteed. Contractors are responsible for their own operating expenses, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and applicable business expenses.

Responsibilities

As an Independent Contractor Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Picking up, transporting, and delivering packages throughout an assigned distribution route.
• Completing approximately 35–70 delivery stops per day.
• Operating your own cargo van or Sprinter van safely and professionally.
• Loading, organizing, and securing packages for efficient delivery.
• Following assigned routes and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records using our driver application.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Providing professional and reliable service at every delivery location.
• Ensuring packages are handled carefully and delivered accurately.

Requirements

To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
• Vehicle: The vehicle must be 2014 model year or newer and suitable for delivery. A cargo van or Sprinter van is required for this route. The vehicle must be in good working condition, maintain a professional appearance, be rust-free, and pass a multi-point vehicle inspection.
• Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• While Under Dispatch (WUD) Insurance: Contractors must enroll in WUD insurance through our third-party contractor management system.
