What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Cargill Casual Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

This position is located in High River, Alberta.

Responsibilities for Cargill Casual Security Guard

• Facilitate access to trailers and authorize trucks
• Trailer Safety checks and damage inspections
• Check the axel weight and issuing clearance certificate
• Monitor closed circuit cameras
• Coordinate response to incidents
• Exterior and Interior patrols
• Controlling access points

Qualifications for Cargill Casual Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Alberta Security guard license and first aid
• Full class 5 Drivers License; Vehicle required
• Available to work on a casual on call basis; 12 hour shifts
• High level of report writing skills
• High level of communication skills
• High level of computer skills required
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift
