Hull Training and Adult Education is seeking a reliable, proactive, and practical Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, secure, and welcoming environment across our training centres.
This is a varied and hands-on role that supports staff, learners, visitors, and contractors by ensuring our buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard. No two days are the same, and the successful candidate will take pride in keeping our sites operational, compliant, and presentable.
As Caretaker, you will undertake a wide range of building, maintenance, security, cleaning, and site support duties, including:

ROLE AND PURPOSE
To undertake general, handyperson duties and manual tasks in connection with the operation and maintenance of the Hull Training and Adult Education Service buildings and sites. To liaise with staff, visitors, contractors, supplies and other team members to ensure a clean and safe environment for all staff and learners.
7 Machinery used to undertake duties includes grass cutters, hedge trimmers, and electric saws and drills. All equipment must be operated in accordance with health and safety guidance at all times.
