Barnham CEVC Primary School is a happy, caring and supportive Thrive School of Excellence, caring school with a family feel, located in the beautiful rural countryside on the Suffolk and Norfolk border.

We seek to appoint a flexible and committed Caretaker, to take pride in the upkeep and maintenance of our internal and external school site.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has the ability to meet the duties outlined within the job description
  • shows initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • is a good team player
  • is reliable and punctual
  • has high expectations of their standard of work and pays attention to detail
  • has an unblemished safeguarding record
  • has a good standard of IT literacy and willingness to use electronic/digital systems
  • is able to solve problems and work independently, with a flexible approach to priorities and complete tasks and work items effectively.
