Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. The Carer will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of their clients, while promoting independence and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, adhering to individual care plans.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care, progress, and medication, in line with organisational policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Qualifications:

• Certification III in Individual Support or in a relevant
• Demonstrated experience providing care to individuals, preferably within a community or aged care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Physical ability to assist clients as needed
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
