Responsive recruiter Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation to and from South Orange County (San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, etc.)
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Successful completion of California Caregiver Training course
  • Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with California Department of Social Services
  • CPR Certification
  • Negative TB Test

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Companionship by providing stimulating conversation and pleasant interactions
  • Basic housekeeping tasks and food preparations with nutritional value
  • Transportation to activities outside of the home such as errands and appointments
  • General healthcare such as medication and medical appointment reminders 
  • Ensure ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) are being completed and noted in the AxisCare mobile app
  • Report any incidents directly to the office staff and notate in the AxisCare mobile app
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
  • *Responsibilities may differ case by case.

We offer an authentic and caring team approach, and our office staff works to ensure Caregiver scheduling and the care needs of clients are met. We are looking for compassionate Caregivers, preferably with 1+ years of experience to join our team! We have a variety of home care jobs available throughout the community of South Orange County. **Assisting Hands Dana Point does not guarantee hours. Hours are on a case by case basis depending on availability and client needs.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
