Job Description

This role is open to drivers and none drivers

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to join our care team in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. This is a waking night shift position providing essential support to clients during overnight hours. We welcome applications from both drivers and non-drivers, as transportation needs vary by assignment.

  • Provide personal care assistance and support to clients during overnight shifts, ensuring their comfort and dignity
  • Monitor clients' health, well-being, and safety throughout the night, responding promptly to any concerns or requests
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the broader care team regarding client needs and any changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and client interactions
  • Follow all care plans and protocols established by the care organization
  • Provide reliable and punctual service, maintaining consistent attendance for assigned shifts
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and respect for client autonomy and preferences
  • Optional: Provide transportation for clients to appointments or activities (for drivers)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in caregiving, healthcare support, or related field
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain alertness during night hours
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred for some positions)
  • First Aid or CPR certification (preferred)
  • Successful background check and clearance for working with vulnerable individuals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to client needs
