About the Opportunity

We are hiring a dependable and compassionate female Caregiver for an immediate in-home care opportunity in Stratford, CT.

The client is a male who primarily needs companionship and assistance with his daily routine. This is a consistent 1:00 PM–6:00 PM assignment with hours available seven days per week.

Candidates do not necessarily need to work all seven days. We are interested in caregivers who can work several consistent days each week and can discuss the schedule that best fits their availability.

The client has a cat and a goldfish, so applicants must be comfortable working in a home with pets.

Schedule

• 1:00 PM–6:00 PM
• 5-hour shifts
• Monday through Sunday coverage available
• Consistent weekly schedule
• Part-time or potentially larger schedules depending on availability

Pay

• $17.50–$18.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications
• Weekly pay

About the Client

This is primarily a companionship-focused assignment supporting a male client in his own home.

The ideal caregiver is personable, dependable, and enjoys spending time with clients while helping them maintain their independence and normal daily routine.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship, conversation, and social interaction
• Assist with daily routines as needed
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Assist with light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders when required by the care plan
• Assist with errands and grocery shopping when needed
• Provide transportation when appropriate
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Female caregiver required for this client assignment
• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be comfortable with a cat in the home
• Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, or personal care experience preferred
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule
• Compassionate, patient, and professional
• Ability to pass required background screenings
