Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant (PCA)

STARTING PAY: $13.01/HOUR

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE | WEEKDAY & WEEKEND OPPORTUNITIES | PAID EVERY FRIDAY

Heritage Home Healthcare is a home health agency hiring multiple caring and dependable Caregivers / Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide personal care services to clients in their homes throughout the Las Cruces area.

We are continuously hiring caregivers for a variety of client assignments. Opportunities may include weekday, weekend, and flexible PRN schedules, depending on current client needs.

Weekend availability is especially needed at this time.

What You'll Do

You'll provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes.

Your work may include:

• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Providing supervision, companionship, and emotional support
• Helping with daily routines and activities
• Following the client's individualized care plan
• Providing medication assistance as delegated and permitted
• Providing mobility assistance, including transfers and positioning when needed
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Providing light housekeeping assistance
• Keeping the client's environment safe and clean
• Escorting or transporting clients to appointments or errands when required
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns to our care team

Schedule & Availability

We hire caregivers for a variety of client schedules throughout the Las Cruces area.

Available assignments may include:

• Weekday shifts
• Weekend shifts
• PRN / flexible schedules
• Additional shifts as they become available

Weekend availability is especially needed.

Schedules and available hours vary based on current client needs. Our team works to match caregivers with available assignments based on location, availability, and client needs.

You Will Travel to Clients' Homes

This is a home health position, so you will travel to different clients' homes rather than working at one location.

You must have:

• Valid driver's license
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance

You must be comfortable driving to clients' homes throughout Las Cruces and surrounding areas and transporting clients when required.

Paid Training & CPR

No CPR certification? That's okay!

We provide paid training, including CPR training if you need it.

Additional required training may be completed as part of the onboarding process.

Before You Start

Applicants must successfully complete:

• Background check
• Fingerprinting
• Pre-employment drug screening
• TB screening
• CPR certification/training
• Required onboarding and training
