Job Description

At Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors, we believe compassionate caregivers make a meaningful difference every day. As a Non-Medical Caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence, safety, and quality of life.

Each client has a unique care plan tailored to their individual needs. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance: Provide standby assistance with showering and bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, hair care, and nail care for non-diabetic clients.
• Light housekeeping: Help maintain a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light cleaning tasks such as laundry, dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
• Mobility assistance: Assist clients with walking, transfers, fall prevention, and general mobility support to ensure comfort and safety throughout the home.
• Shopping and errands: Assist with grocery shopping, food bank pick-ups, medication pick-ups, and other essential errands.
• Meal preparation: Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with hydration and dietary reminders as needed.
• Emotional support and companionship: Provide friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support while encouraging engagement in activities and daily routines.

Job Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background checks.
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. We welcome compassionate individuals who are eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a caring attitude are essential.
