Caregiver Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary depending on the client’s individual needs and care plan, but can include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Following individualized care plans
- Helping clients maintain safety, comfort, and independence
- Communicating professionally with families and team members
- Other caregiving duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Willingness to complete all required employment screenings and onboarding
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Clean driving record
- Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Access to email and a smartphone
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion at all times
