Caregiver Needed – Dementia Care | $22/hr | Part-Time Weekends & Mondays | Morton, PA
Comfort Keepers® is hiring a compassionate, patient caregiver to support a mother and adult daughter in their home, with primary care focused on the mother who is living with dementia. The goal is to help her remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
This is a consistent, part-time assignment in Morton, PA.
💰 Pay & Schedule
- $22/hour
- Saturday, Sunday & Monday

❤️ About the Family
Care is primarily for the mother, who has been diagnosed with dementia. She:
- Ambulates independently (no mobility devices)
- Dresses herself
- Can participate in daily routines with encouragement
She may be forgetful, become frustrated, use foul language, or show verbal aggression at times. The ideal caregiver is calm, patient, and experienced with de-escalation and redirection, encouraging her to complete tasks herself with gentle reminders.
The adult daughter lives in the home and is part of the care environment, providing support and oversight.
🛠️ Responsibilities
- Encourage and assist with showering
- Stand-by assist with toileting and hygiene
- Ensure proper hygiene and pull-up changes as needed
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and changing bed linens
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship and reassurance
- Promote safety, dignity, and independence using a “do with, not do for” approach
