Caregiver — Senior Living Community

Garden City, ID | Full-time & Part-time | Day, Evening, and Overnight (NOC) shifts available

What you'll do

You'll help residents move through their day with dignity — a warm shower, a favorite breakfast, a hand to hold on the walk to the dining room. Specifically, you'll:

• Assist with daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
• Prepare and serve meals from our menus, including modified diets, and help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean
• Support residents with medication reminders and assistance
• Use proven memory care techniques to gently redirect and engage residents during difficult moments
• Lead and join in on activities that bring joy — music, crafts, conversation, laughter
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming (light housekeeping and laundry)
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with your team

What we're looking for

• At least 18 years old (or 17 with an Idaho CNA certificate)
• A genuine love for older adults — especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer's
• Dependable, on-time, and a true team player
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stay active throughout your shift
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to keep resident information confidential and handle emergencies calmly

Nice to have (we'll help you get there if you don't)

• CNA certification
• Medication Assistant certification (or Idaho equivalent)
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler's cards
• Previous caregiving or cooking experience, especially for groups

A few things to know

• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required (random testing applies)
• Monthly continuing education provided to keep your skills sharp
• This is hands-on, physical work — lots of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
