Make an Impact:

ComForCare celebrates the value of our caregivers. Backed by a national brand with 30 years in the industry, ComForCare Home Care of Truckee Meadows is locally owned and operated by a licensed speech-language pathologist with a background in neurological rehabilitation. That means you’ll learn practical skills most agencies can’t teach, like communicating with clients after a stroke and supporting clients living with Parkinson’s or dementia. We understand the demanding work of caregiving, and we’re here to support you.

What we are looking for:

  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check and TB screening
  • Willingness to complete required state training before your first independent shift (provided by us)
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Comfortable using a smartphone app to clock in and out of visits

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their own homes
  • Provide assistance with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Help manage household needs, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
  • Provide companionship and respite for the family
  • Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the office

Pay: $19/hr, up to $21/hr for clients needing full, hands-on help with bathing, toileting, and transfers.

Schedule: Flexible shifts are available, including weekday days, evenings, and weekends. We offer part-time and full-time hours and build your schedule around your availability.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Live your best life possible while helping others live theirs.
