This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an individual in West Bend, Wisconsin. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being active in the community, participating in creative activities, and helping others maintain independence while ensuring their health and safety.
 
The individual enjoys shopping, arts and crafts, and spending time out in the community. They are very active, enjoy walking, and can move quickly. The ideal caregiver will be energetic, attentive, and able to provide support while encouraging meaningful engagement in activities the person enjoys.

Pay Rate $16.32 per hour
Schedule Monday-Friday, 5-6 hours per day

Responsibilities
Provide supervision and support during community outings and recreational activities.
Accompany the individual on shopping trips while assisting with budgeting, decision-making, and safe purchasing choices.
Participate in arts and crafts activities and encourage creative expression.
Support community involvement and engagement in preferred activities.
Assist with personal care needs, including toileting assistance when needed.
Provide reminders and guidance for proper hygiene, including handwashing and cleanup after toileting.
Encourage independence while providing appropriate support and redirection.
Maintain a safe environment at home and in the community.
Build a positive, respectful relationship while supporting daily routines and goals.
 
Qualifications
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Strong commitment to safety and person-centered care.
Patient, dependable, and compassionate personality.
Comfortable supporting individuals who may occasionally be resistant to direction or require additional encouragement.
Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
Enjoys community outings, shopping, and creative activities.
Physically able to walk for extended periods and keep pace with an active individual.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
