The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions:

  • Personal Care
    • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management
    • Provide companionship and respite services for family
  • Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
  • Client is paralyzed and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.)

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
  • At least 1 year caregiving experience

Must be:• Willing to keep client active• Good at communicating• Have driver's license and car with automobile insurance

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
