Position Details
This position leads the acquisition of top talent both domestically and internationally, supporting the global growth of Rakuten Group. It involves overseeing all recruitment activities, from planning and executing recruitment strategies, talent sourcing, selection process management, and employer branding, to thereby contributing to strengthening the Group's overall recruitment capabilities. In collaboration with Hiring Managers, you will manage and improve the entire process from defining recruitment requirements to onboarding, and promote the establishment of a recruitment support system for the entire Rakuten Group.
Specific Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Generation: Direct recruiting, promoting referral hiring, agent management, and pipeline generation through various channels.
- Selection Process Management and Improvement: Defining requirements with Hiring Managers, managing and improving the selection process (from pipeline generation to offer acceptance), and designing communication plans.
- Candidate Engagement: Building long-term relationships with potential talent, planning and executing recruitment events.
- Organization and System Building: Establishing recruitment support systems for the entire Rakuten Group.
Stakeholder Collaboration
You will primarily collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Hiring Managers (division heads), HR Business Partners, HR Planning departments, Public Relations, Legal, and the multinational recruitment team. Externally, you will work with talent agencies, recruitment media vendors, event companies, and recruitment technology vendors to drive strategic recruitment activities.

The team comprises members from their late 20s to 40s, possessing diverse backgrounds.
While roles are broadly divided within the group, such as interview scheduling and onboarding preparation, we have built a team structure where members can easily complement each other.

At least 3 years of experience in mid-career recruitment, or at least 3 years of experience in recruitment at a talent agency.
