What the Career Partners Program Supervisor does:

In collaboration with campus leadership, instructors, and external partners, the Career Partners Program Supervisor will:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of Career & Technical Education (CTE), work-based learning (WBL), and transition services across all campuses.
  • Establish program goals, compliance protocols (OSHA, CDL, Perkins, etc.), and data-driven improvement strategies.
  • Coordinate student placements, internships, and credentialing processes.
  • Serve as primary liaison to workforce agencies, technical education authorities, and employer partners.
  • Convene and chair the Employer Advisory Board; recruit new business partners.
  • Directly supervise CTE instructors, pathway leads, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track credentials earned, student placements, and program impact.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support.
  • Manage program budgets and purchasing in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Coordinate grant-related reporting and collaborate with the Director of Development on renewals and audits.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all compliance requirements.
  • Plan and execute career events, job fairs, and employer site visits.
  • Represent PHILLIPS Programs at conferences, workshops, and workforce development meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support student success and program growth.



Qualifications

What the Career Partners Program Supervisor brings to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel daily between campuses.
  • 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in CTE, workforce development, or transition services; experience leading multi-site/school-based programs strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of placing students or adult learners into internships, jobs, or apprenticeships, and building sustainable employer partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure program compliance.
  • Proficiency in using data for program improvement and developing workforce dashboards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with grant reporting, credentialing processes, and culturally responsive/inclusive education practices is highly valued.
