About the Role

Eureka Care Communities is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Salisbury on a casual basis. This role plays an important part in supporting the wellbeing and safety of our residents during evening and overnight hours, ensuring high-quality service and a supportive living environment.

This position offers approximately 30 hours per week, with nightshift availability essential. You must be able to work the following shift types:

  • 18:30 – 06:30
  • 16:00 – 06:00
  • 23:00 – 05:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day support to residents, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and comfort throughout the night.
  • Assist with daily living activities where required, including evening meals, social support, and morning routines.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs, incidents, and enquiries overnight.
  • Encourage independence while offering respectful and practical assistance.
  • Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community environment.

About You

  • Experience in aged care, community support, or a similar role (Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
  • Empathetic, patient, and respectful in supporting residents’ individual needs.
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to creating and maintaining a safe and caring environment.
  • NDIS Clearance required.
