Your Opportunity

Full Time - Office Based in Jannali - Hybrid

As a Care Team Leader, you will lead and support a team of 20–40 Care Workers to deliver safe, responsive and high‑quality home care services.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive consistent, person‑centred care while building a strong, capable and engaged team.

With integrity and compassion, you will:

  • Lead, coach and support your team to deliver exceptional care

  • Manage scheduling and coverage to ensure continuity of service

  • Support performance, engagement and day‑to‑day team operations

  • Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with standards

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support service delivery

What You’ll Bring

You’re a supportive and organised leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering great care outcomes.

You will also bring:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent

  • Experience leading teams in aged care or community services

  • Understanding of community‑based aged care services

  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

  • Confidence using systems and care management tools

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
