This is a Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour NIGHT shift located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. There are also weekends on call and some holiday shifts with this role. As a Care Team Assistant, you will work under the direction of an RN and Surgical Technologist to assist with the care of perioperative patients and OR room preparation activities such as;
Assisting with OR bed set ups.
Assisting with equipment and supplies.
Housekeeping duties to turn over rooms between cases.
Assisting in positioning patients for procedures.
Assisting in transporting patients.
Assisting with transporting labs/specimens.
Providing excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
