Make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality, person-centred care at Frederic House , a specialist aged care facility dedicated to supporting older men affected by homelessness, mental health challenges, and alcohol or drug dependence. Provide care in line with individual care plans.
Uphold and exceed aged care accreditation standards.
Accurately administer medication and maintain clear documentation.
Communicate effectively with team members, families, and residents.
Contribute to care assessments and planning with registered nurses.
Support food service delivery and maintain hygiene standards.
Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes.
Ensure safety through proper use of equipment and protocols.
Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum requirement).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A respectful, empathetic approach to resident care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proven ability to identify and respond to safety concerns.
Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Completion or willingness to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Clearance checks: National Police Check, International Police Check (if required), NSW Working with Children Check (Employee), and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
