Care Manager (Live-in Care)
Derby
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Manager to join a well-established live-in care service in the Derby area. This role offers the chance to take a leading role in delivering high-quality, person-centred live-in care services. This is an ideal position for a motivated care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding care in people’s homes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of live-in care services
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered
  • Manage and support a team of care staff and live-in carers
  • Carry out care assessments, reviews, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for service users, families, and professionals
  • Coordinate staffing arrangements, rotas, and service coverage
  • Monitor service quality and implement improvements where needed
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care management or senior care coordination role
  • Strong understanding of live-in care or domiciliary care services
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) desirable
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
