Care Manager

As a Care Manager, you will lead and manage our team to deliver exceptional care that promotes resident choice, dignity, and meaningful connections. You will ensure compliance with aged care standards, oversee clinical quality improvements, and support the professional development of your team.

Your Contribution

  • Lead and inspire a positive culture for your team aligned with Fresh Hope Communities’ values.
  • Oversee clinical care on shift, contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, and addressing any gaps in care and ensuring timely resolution
  • Foster resident-centred care which meets the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents,
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to optimise resident wellbeing and outcomes,
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the facility manager.

The Essentials

As a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration, you will have;

  • Experience in aged care and knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards,
  • Demonstrated clinical and people leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff,
  • Compassionate, hands-on leader with a commitment to resident wellbeing and clinical excellence,
  • Ability to multitask with shifting priorities and work in a calm considered manner,
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Criminal History Check or willingness to apply for a new one.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
